Independent Environments, Inc. (IEI) is a non-profit corporation which provides residential and day support services to adults who experience developmental disabilities. Such disabilities include but are not limited to intellectual or cognitive delays, physical disabilities, cerebral palsy, visual and/or hearing impairments, speech and language disorders, epilepsy, brain injuries, autism and emotional disturbances. IEI supports twenty-five adults, men and women, who live across seven homes which are owned and operated by IEI and ten people who are supported in IEI day supports, which we call the IDEAS program. IEI has a seven-member Board of Directors which meets monthly. An Executive Director oversees all program operations.
